a very slippery shoe

Very disappointed that this shoe is so very extraordinarily slippery... I noticed it straight away as I tried them on for the first time in my kitchen. I had to catch my balance walking across the linoleum floor. I wore them outside and had the same experience two more times while walking on the lawn in the back yard. I don't think I can trust these shoes to keep my feet on the ground. very disappointed. I would return them for a refund, but of course I can't because I have worn them outside. I contacted my local store and they confirmed that their in-stock shoes have the same white dusty glaze over the otherwise mustard colored tread. What's with that?
