It cleans the felt like it says it does. Just making sure to do a full circle around the hat pattern and not just back and forth. (Highly recommend watch a video on youtube on how to clean felt cowboy hats!) It chopped the loose strains, you can see dust and debree fly off it. (My felt is heavily soiled with dirt) so do this outdoors with the wind blowing away from you so you dont inhale the dust. Its soft enough to clean it and hard enough to make the hat look brand spanking new. Finish off with a waterproofer spray when done to keep it like new even longer.
