Kimes Ranch Women's Betty Mid Rise Bootcut Jeans

Not sure how these jeans get so many good reviews. These mid rise jeans are THE worst fitting jeans I've ever bought. Unfortunately I ordered online and tried wearing a pair for a weekend at a rodeo so returning is just more of a pain than it's worth. But I don't know who they based the fit of these jeans on, I'm a slim 5'5" 125lbs. There's no reason that the thighs of a 2x34 jean should be so excessively skin tight that I can't even sit in the saddle or squat down to pick up something off the ground in these jeans and yet still need a belt because the waist is actually a bit big. They fit like men's jeans more than women's jeans. Of course after purchase and mentioning my problem to the others at the barn i was told that this is a common problem with kimes mid rise. Maybe this is why they're on sale? I'll go back to wranglers and donate this junk I guess.

These jeans are the most comfortable and aesthetically beautiful I have ever owned! You can feel the impeccable quality of the denim the second you step into them… even the zipper is impressively sturdy. This purchase exceeeded all expectations. I just wish I’d known about this brand & style sooner. I’m a short legs 5’4” so I did take them to the tailor for a 1.5” Euro hem (an original hem / retained hem alteration). A tailor cuts off the factory bottom hem, shortens the jean leg to the desired length, and then sews the original bottom edge back onto the new length. Kimes quality top-to-bottom! I found the mid-rise waist true to size. I’m in love with these jeans.

Love these jeans. I am 5’11” and these are first ever to not ride up when I ride my horse. I love the 36” length option! They feel so comfortable all day long. Definitely getting another pair!
