Love my Aussie outback long coat

I bought this at the Tilley Shop in Coombs, BC in 1993 after returning from Nicaragua so really felt the cold again . I love the cotton lining and oilskin outer. In 2008 in November I lost tracking on Salmo summit in my solf top tracker and because I was wearing such a strongly and well made coat. My body was protected from more damage then usual. After flipping 8 times down the mountain, I crawled up with help of by standers, then was laced into a rope by a rescue fellow over my heavy outback and safely pulled backwards up the mountain side to a waiting ambulance. The waxy covering of it (coat) took the place of a backboard or toboggan and I was slid up over that snow covered mountainside to safety with only 11 bone breaks but alive and heal able. I'll never give up that coat. It saved my life!!

Perfect!

I’ve always wanted a duster! I had the opportunity to try one on in Texas a few weeks ago, and to my surprise, I found the medium size fit me best. So as soon as I came home to Canada, I ordered one in brown. It arrived today, and I’m very impressed with the quality and features. I’m certainly looking forward to wearing it when the weather turns sour (very soon I’m afraid).
Very good service and fast shipping from Lammle’s too! 👍👍👍

Fantastic jacket!

I got one of these years ago and I am here again for my second one! I still continue to wear my older one but it needs to be re waxed and I think it would be foolish not to have a second one on hand that’s new as these jackets are the finest in western wear unbeatable quality! Lasts for YEARS! And they look so awesome! I wear mine in Winnipeg weather no wind gets through these jackets and water no contest!
