I own several high-end hats, but I was in search of one that I could wear without concern for work and outdoor activities, and this hat has been a pleasant surprise. Although it's a machine-made Bangora Straw hat, to most it appears as just another straw hat. The description mentioned a faux leather sweatband, so I anticipated a leather-like feel, but it actually features a fabric sweatband, which is unexpectedly comfortable. Now I'm pondering whether my purchase of an American hat was a waste of money. The answer is no, but for the price, this is a fantastic hat.
