Lammle’s Western Wear and Tack operating since 1983, is family owned and operated in Calgary, Alberta. With stores located throughout Western Canada, we serve both rural and urban centers. We provide authentic western wear for the entire family, in addition to selections of tack for both Western and English equine enthusiasts.

Role: Ecommerce Design & Presentation Specialist

Reports to: Ecommerce Manager

This position is responsible for the following:

Design:
· Work with vendors to curate authentic lifestyle imagery.
· Use strong layout and design techniques to produce regular creative for emails, website, sales, and online 3rd party promotion.
· Ensure all brand standards and best practices are maintained.

Products:
· Work with vendors to curate product images, descriptions & content.
· Photograph products and write product descriptions if vendor cannot supply content.
· Edit and upload product images and site content to standard.
· Oversee product merchandising and assign products to appropriate collections.
· Maintain inventory accuracy on both front and back end of operation.
· Add and maintain sizing charts.
· Maintain IMAP pricing.

Promotion:
· Update/create homepage and landing pages weekly.
· Maintain and enhance site taxonomy and site product search.
· Practice fundamental SEO standards for products and web content.
· Use tools to launch and maintain pricing promotions, coupons and standards.
· Work with Buying team to implement online pricing markups and markdowns.
· Assist in finding, using and maintaining 3rd party promotional platforms and channels.
· Work cross-functionally with marketing team to support campaigns, emails, content, and other initiatives.
· Maintain current store hours for both website and internet properties.

Analytics & Reporting
· Help analyze and manage both internal and external site performance.
· Run, adjust and present reporting of metrics and insight as required.

Additional:
· Assist Ecommerce Manager with web initiatives, enhancements and feature development as required.
· Research competitors and ensure we are engaging in all online retail best practices.
· Assist fulfillment team with inventory investigations and adjustments.
· Assist with picking and packing online orders during high volume periods.
· Be the resident expert on the relationships and dependencies between Lammle’s ERP system and Shopify.
· Document new internal processes as required.

Requirements:
· Expert knowledge in graphic design, with web-based experience preferred.
· Expert knowledge in photo editing software - including background removal and image reconstruction/editing techniques.
· Photography skills – web product shooting experience preferred.
· Ability to communicate efficiently and in a friendly, collaborative manner to build relationships with 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders.
· Ability to work in both a team environment, as well as individually with minimal assistance.
· CMS/Database maintenance experience considered strong asset.
· Shopify, SEO and creative writing skills considered an asset.
