Kimberly G’s Family Tradition: Why They Choose Lammle’s for All Things Western

"We are huge Lammle’s shoppers in my house," Kimberly shares. "From boots to hats, we’re fully equipped."
What started as a casual shopping experience for their eldest daughter who began riding five years ago, has today turned into a full-fledged family affair. Now 12 years old, she has taken up competitive penning and just started sorting, while their youngest, at nine, has caught the riding bug, too. Even Kimberly and her husband have embraced Western apparel to keep up with their girls.
"We love Lammle’s selection and especially their helpful staff at the South Edmonton location," she says.

The Perfect Fit for Every Rider
With two growing daughters in the saddle, durability and comfort are key. Their eldest daughter swears by Ariat jeans, which hold up to the demands of competitive riding while still remaining stylish.
"She enjoys the waistline that doesn’t dig into her while riding and that not all of the Ariat jeans have ‘bling’ on the backside, as it’s rough on her saddle," Kimberly explains. Wrangler western button-down shirts are also a staple in her wardrobe.
Meanwhile, their youngest daughter may get the hand-me-downs, but she’s not complaining.
"She is always happy to receive them because they hold up so well and really maintain their shape," Kimberly says. And when it comes to footwear, she recently picked out a new pair of Roper shoes and couldn’t be happier. "She says they are the most comfortable shoes she’s ever had."

A Family Favourite: Ariat Footwear
When asked about their absolute favourite item from Lammle’s, the answer isn’t simple—but one brand stands out.
"It’s so hard to pinpoint our favourite item, but we all own Ariat cowboy boots, ankle boots, and runners," Kimberly says. "I think we’d all say Ariat is our go-to brand—you can’t beat the insane comfort and fit of all their footwear. Bonus that they also have wide foot options."
And it’s not just boots. For cozy, everyday wear, the family loves Hooey and Wanakome hoodies and sweats. "They are so cozy and comfortable," Kimberly adds.

"I think I may have gotten carried away," she says with a laugh. "But we always really look forward to our Lammle’s shopping day. We don’t go to the mall anymore—we just go to Lammle’s. It’s such a treat."
