Shauna W. on Rediscovering Her Western Style
For Shauna W., her recent shopping trip to Lammle’s wasn’t just about updating her wardrobe—it was about rediscovering a part of herself.
Her cozy Outback jacket, picked up in Kamloops, quickly became a favourite, and not just for its warmth or style.
"Every time I put it on, my husband tells me I look great in it," Shauna shares. "And I think he is saying that because I feel [like] myself in it."
Along with the jacket, she picked up a couple pairs of Wrangler jeans, and according to her, they were long overdue.
"My bottom is saying thank you for them!! And my husband!"
Bringing Western Back
For years, Shauna made it a habit to stop by Lammle’s every time she returned home to Alberta. But life has a way of shifting priorities.
"Since looking after elders for the past three years, I haven’t," she explains. "Jeans got a little tight, etc. I’ve been wearing uncomfortable clothes, for lack of better words!"
That changed earlier this month when she decided it was time to refresh her wardrobe with pieces that felt right.
"I bought this jacket, jeans, and a few tops, and it feels right to bring the Western back for me!"
For Shauna, it’s not just about the clothes—it’s about how they make her feel. And sometimes, the right outfit can remind you exactly who you are.
